Tottenham looking at the winter transfer window

According to TEAMTALK and CalcioMercato, Tottenham is attempting to ‘satisfy’ Antonio Conte in the winter transfer window to deter him from considering a move to Juventus. Stefan de Vrij, one of Inter Milan’s “cornerstones,” could be acquired as a means of achieving this.

The defender’s situation is being monitored by Spurs, who will launch an attack as soon as they learn that he is up for grabs.

Despite the formidable presence of Hojbjerg and Bentancur in front of him, Oliver Skipp is finally healthy and back in action. But he’s made it clear how he’s picking up tips from those more seasoned competitors.

“To be fair, those two especially have been brilliant this season,” he said in an interview with the club’s most recent matchday programme. “I think in the last month or so they’ve even gone on another level again, so I’m watching and learning from them, trying to take bits from their games and seeing what they’re doing well at the moment.

“They’re getting more goals and assists this season which they’ve added to their game, so they’ve been fantastic for us and credit to them. I think all the midfield group, with Yves and the young lads as well, Harvey White and Pape Matar Sarr, we’re all pushing each other.”

Although Spurs have six weeks to reorganize, work will be done behind the scenes to put the team in the best possible position going forward.

Tottenham make decision to release this midfielder

The versatile midfielder Dante Cassanova’s future has reportedly been decided by Tottenham Hotspur.

The 18-year-old midfielder may leave the London club at the end of his current contract, according to a Football Insider report.

The player has reportedly been injured frequently this year, and Spurs have apparently run out of patience with him. After his first two years were up in the simmer, they gave him an extension.

The Londoners believed the youngster deserved an additional opportunity to establish himself and secure his spot in the youth team. The player, however, has had a disappointing season thus far and hasn’t been able to overcome his persistent injury problems.

They are prepared to make a U-turn at this point and allow the player to find a new club.

Cassanova can play both right-back and central defensive midfield. It will be intriguing to see if he can locate a club ready to give him the chance to demonstrate his value.

He will need to improve his fitness, though, and overcome his injury issues.
