Could a managerial reunion be on the cards at Spurs?

Could a managerial reunion be on the cards at Tottenham Hotspur? Perhaps.

It is no secret that Antonio Conte looks unhappy with how things are developing at Spurs at the moment, with the Italian having been pictured frustrated more often than not.

Indeed, some might argue that is because his players are unable to string together a number of consistent performances; something that fans and even betting enthusiasts who have used the safe sites and array of bonuses available on the casinoszonder.com gateway have started to experience as they look to enhance their passion for the beautiful game.

The club has been hammered 4-1 by Leicester City in the Premier League after knocking off the Premier League champions Manchester City 1-0. They followed that performance against the Foxes with another defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by AC Milan in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie.

With the concern around the results perhaps starting to grow combined with the fact that they have West Ham United and Chelsea next in back-to-back home league games, there will be a lot of pressure on Conte.

Additionally, the fact that he is yet to commit his future to the club by signing a new deal is perhaps a clear indication that he will not be in the dugout beyond the summer. This has, naturally, led to speculation about who could potentially come in.

And, according to a radio journalist, a reunion could be on the cards at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Alan Brazil revealed that he had been told Mauricio Pochettino could be about to make a return to the club he led to a UEFA Champions League final.

He said: “I’ve been disappointed with Spurs, but you look at the table, and what they’re left in and I think they can overcome Milan in London.

“I do, I think they can go through to the next round. So I understand what Jamie (O’Hara) is saying, and I’ll say it again, I’m told he’s probably going to leave and Poch will come in.

“But whoever comes in, has got to have money to improve, especially in midfield.”

It would not be a surprise to see Tottenham fans get on board with a move for their former manager again, as the Argentine has proven to be a very popular figure with the club. Indeed, some would have questioned the decision to get rid of him in the first place and swap him with a failed experiment in Jose Mourinho.

Whether he will work in the same way the second time around given that things had gone stale would be food for thought for everyone involved, but if he were to be given the financial backing and the players the managers have had since he left, perhaps he could be the answer they need.

For now, though, it will all be down to Conte and what he decides to do. If he manages to achieve success and glory, perhaps he will stay. Perhaps, though, he will feel that he has had enough and will want out of the capital once his deal expires.
